Defining a Culture; The Intellectual Man.

Hello again!


    It has been quite a while since our last post. We have been up to an assortment of things this last year. Most of which consisted of working a lot until we realized that we were missing something very important. We lost sight of this blog and our dream of creating a culture where men can be men and we can explore new things together and talk about ideas. In this way we will continue to learn and grow and, hopefully, become more and more passionate about life and the relationships around us. So what is an "Intellectual Man"? We use this term to identify someone who, through living life, wants to take the time to learn about cultural things, dive into new projects, likes to be creative. The list goes on. In the most general term, an Intellectual Man is someone who takes care of himself and the people around him. Someone who does not sit in front of the TV after work. Make the most of your time and relationships today. Get out there and DO SOMETHING!

Through the creative stages of this blog, and yet the Intellectual Man Space is so much more than such, we have found lack in our own lives. Intellectual Man Space is a journey.  I have personally been challenged to evaluate all aspects of my life.  Am I pushing myself in all areas to become an intellectual man?  The more I search, the more I find I can expand in new ways.  I question, if we, as intellectual men, aren't expanding, then are we simply digressing?  Having not posted for a bit, I have taken the time to find even more purpose behind this blog.  My hope is that having viewed it, you will continue to check back. There will be much more to come, and it will be much more regular.  From new found homebrewing clubs, to local restaurants, and even some opinion on the lack and progress of intellectual men in our area.  This is just beginning.....

The Start.

Through many years of struggle and frustration, looking for greater enjoyment of the simple, yet finer things in life; we decided to embark on our own journey of exploring local cuisine, beverage, shops, and entertainment.  From this point forward we are committed to bringing our experiences, tastes, and facial hair, for the greater benefit of The Intellectual Man everywhere.... but particularly, the Corridor.  Check in regularly for our take on all that is local, and man.
